Clustering in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks With Some Nodes Having the Same Weight

چکیده

The Distributed Mobility Adaptative Clustering (DMAC) due to Basagni partitions the nodes of a mobile ad hoc network into clusters, thus giving the network a hierarchical organization. This algorithm supports the mobility of the nodes, even during the cluster formation. In the former approach clusters are built considering only some parameters like node degree and node identifier. The main feature of DMAC is that in a weighted network nodes have to choose the clusterheads taking into account also the node weight (i.e the mobility) in case where a node weight is the inverse of its speed. The problem of that protocol is that it assumes that each weight is unique. In case in which a weight of a node is the inverse of its speed, he assumption that two nodes cannot have the same weight it is restrictive and irrealitic. This paper proposes a clustering schema in which many nodess can have the same weight. RÉSUMÉ. La Clustérisation Distribuée Adaptée à la Mobilité (CDAM) proposée par Basagni partionne les nœuds d’un réseau ad hoc en grappes (i.e. clusters), en générant une organisation hiérarchique. L’ algorithme supporte la mobilité des nœuds durant la phase de formation des grappes. Les grappes sont construites en ne considérant comme paramétres que le degré et l’identifiant de chaque nœud. La caractéristique principale de (CDAM) est de choisir dans un réseau pondéré les têtes de grappes en prenant en compte le poids du nœud ainsi que sa mobilité. En supposant que le poids d’un nœud est l’inverse de sa vitesse, considérer que deux nœuds ne peuvent pas avoir le même poids est restrictif et irréaliste. Le présent article propose une solution dans le cas où plusieurs nœuds peuvent avoir le même poids.
